Advanced Warranty
A warranty against defects given by Frank Green Enterprises Pty Ltd ACN 166 075 592. Effective for Edition II products purchased on or after 20/10/2026.
You're only as unstoppable as what you carry, so we built a range that won't hold you back. And because we believe in what we make, we back it up. Properly. The Edition II Advanced Warranty isn't a legal trap full of fine print designed to catch you out. It's an honest commitment between us and you. If you look after your frank green, we'll look after you.
Your Rights by Law (The Baseline)
Let's get the legal stuff out of the way first.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Every brand has to tell you that. We put it at the top, because you deserve to know your rights. But we think you deserve better than just the legal minimum.
The Edition II Advanced Warranty is in addition to those rights and doesn't limit them. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply whether or not you register, and they aren't limited to 12 months or 5 years.
Registering Your Product
When you buy a frank green product, you get our standard 12-month coverage under this Warranty. But if you purchase an Edition II via our online and retail stores, we upgrade you to The Edition II Advanced Warranty: 5 years of coverage automatically.
Both periods run from the date the product was bought, as shown on the order or receipt.
Repair First, Replace Second
Throwing away a perfectly good bottle because a seal failed is ridiculous. It's bad for the planet and it's bad design. If something goes wrong with your Edition II product, our first instinct is to fix it. We commit to keeping spare parts (lids, seals, straws, and bases) available for the full 5 years of your warranty. If a part fails, we'll send you the part to make your bottle whole again.
If it can't be fixed, we'll replace it. And we'll make sure the broken one is recycled properly where we can.
Replacement parts and products are covered for the rest of your original warranty period.
This is how the Advanced Warranty works. It doesn't limit your choice of remedy under the Australian Consumer Law: for a major failure you can choose a refund or a replacement.
What Is Covered
The Edition II Advanced Warranty covers manufacturing defects and material failures that stop your product from doing its job. If the vacuum insulation fails, if a weld breaks, or if a seal gives way under normal use, that's on us.
What Is Not Covered (The Honest Exclusions)
We're confident in our engineering, but our bottles aren't indestructible. Here's what isn't covered by the Advanced Warranty. (These exclusions apply to the Advanced Warranty. They don't take away any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.):
• Accidental damage: If you drop it off a cliff, reverse over it with your car, or use it as a hammer, that's on you. Dents and scratches from dropping are battle scars, not manufacturing defects.
• Improper care: If you put a non-dishwasher-safe part in the dishwasher on a boiling cycle, or use bleach to clean it (the care guide in the box and on our website tells you which parts are dishwasher safe).
• Normal wear and tear: Paint chips, minor scratches, and the natural breakdown of materials over years of heavy use.
• The "Chew" Policy: If your dog (or toddler) decides your straw is a chew toy, we can't cover that. But we will happily sell you a replacement part.
• Limited-edition colours and lids are excluded from the 5-year like-for-like replacement guarantee. Once a limited run sells out, we do not manufacture additional identical parts. Your overall warranty coverage still applies: if a limited-edition part fails during the warranty period, we will offer a standard-range replacement or a refund of the purchase price.
Gifting: Passing the Promise On
Good gifts keep giving. If you were lucky enough to receive a frank green Edition II as a gift, the advanced warranty transfers to you. Just make sure the person who bought it gives you the order number (or another proof of purchase, like a receipt or bank statement) so you can reference it in your claim. Even without it, your Australian Consumer Law rights still apply.
How to Make a Claim
1. Head to our online portal at [frankgreen.com/advancedwarranty] with your order number or other proof of purchase.
2. Tell us what happened and upload a photo or short video.
3. Our team will review it. If it's covered, we'll send the replacement part or product straight to your door. Done and done.
Making a claim is free. We pay to ship replacement parts and products to you. If we need the faulty product back, we'll send you a prepaid label or cover the reasonable cost of posting it to us: tell us the cost in the portal and we'll refund it. If you'd rather not use the portal, email us at [hello@frankgreen.com] or write to us at the address below.
